Meet Maddison
Hi, I am Maddie (she/her), and my approach is warm, personable, and non-judgemental. I value the importance of collaborative, individualised, and client-centred care. My goal is to ensure every client feels safe and comfortable while receiving effective, evidence-based treatment.
I am passionate about providing young people and adults with specialised treatment for eating disorders, disordered eating, and a range of other health conditions.
Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach, hiking in nature, catching up with friends for a jog and coffee, exploring new restaurants, and travelling.
Maddie is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and member of Dietitian’s Australia. Maddie obtained her bachelor’s degree of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
Maddie has specialised in eating disorders for the last 6 years whilst working across a number of private and public services. In addition to her role at Tidal Health Clinic, Maddie also works at a public eating disorder service.
Maddie is a certified therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Maudsley Family-Based Therapy (FBT) and has also completed training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Special Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM).
